Meet the team
Miss Godfrey is our Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Special Educational Needs Coordinator. She is a qualified teacher with Early Years specialism. Joining Harewood in 2015 she has worked in a variety of early years settings, including nurseries and children’s centres. Miss Godfrey has also been a member of the LA, SEND pre 5 advisory team and was an Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Moderator for the Local Authority.
Mrs Vincent is the School Senior Administrative Officer. She is responsible for the administration, purchasing resources and supports with Health and Safety of the school.
Mrs McAdam is our EYFS Lead/ Nursery Teacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Joining Harewood at Easter 2021. She has worked as an Early Years Teacher both in Nursery and Reception classes since January 2010.
Mrs Goodwin our Preschool Lead Practitioner. She works closely with the EYFS Lead on the review and development of the curriculum. She leads on the planning and assessment processes in Preschool. She holds a level 4 qualification in Early Years and Childcare and is Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Eve Knight is our Nursery Nurse in the nursery class. She has a level 3 Early Years qualification. She joined us as a student before completing her apprenticeship July 2020.
Mrs Carr is a Level 2 Early Years qualification. She supports the learning and development of children in Nursery and contributes to the planning and assessment processes.
Miss Palfreyman has a level 3 Early Years qualification. She supports the learning and development of children in pre-school and contributes to the planning and assessment.
Miss Sedgwick has a level 3 Early Years qualification. She supports the learning and development of children in nursery and pre-school and contributes to assessment processes.
Mrs Brown has a level 2 Early Years qualification. She supports the learning and development of children in pre-school and contributes to planning and assessment processes.
Miss Millard has a level 2 Early Years qualification. She supports the learning and development of children in pre-school and contributes to planning and assessment processes.
Miss Harrison is our Teaching Assistant supporting our children with SEND. She has previously worked within the NHS supporting children with SEND and has a diploma in SEND.
Miss Amos has a level 2 Early Years qualification. She supports the learning and development of children in pre-school and contributes to planning and assessment processes.
